WebAug 22, 2011 · I was using Canfield 310 heads at the time. There is room on the early blocks to bore to 4.44 so there is a LOT of rebuilds left in this combo. I had a few "289" blocks that were over .400" thick on the walls before bore-truing. Build it as nice as you can on your budget for now. It was a bracket car and ran best of 9.2 @145 last season. I want to get more out of it and think that the 310s might be choking it down. Would the 310 can fields be worth getting ported?
