I have recently noticed that every 4-5 days the switch will fail to boot, resulting in a flashing LED light. WebCisco is annoying because they're not consistent on LED behavior on their switches. I've had some Cisco switches where the LEDs almost don't blink at all, just maybe 1 blink every 2-3 seconds, and other switches where the LEDs are constantly blinking as soon as you plug in a cable. It's so annoying! Perhaps the switch's power supply is malfunctioning and no longer able to provide PoE. I'd take Zac67's advice and check the logs.
