WebEach dlc adds it's own pieces to the game, making it progressively better, but as you are new, it's only worth buying one or two and using them thoroughly. WebFor me as a console player, Mass Transit is essential. It contains the 2- and 4 lane highways. Those are needed to control traffic better. (On PC this can be fixed with mods) Other than that the game is well playable without DLC. Park Life is a good pick if you enjoy detailing. (And can help generate a nice cashflow) WebEvery DLC you buy adds a bunch of extra tutorials and systems the game throws at you while you're starting out. So the start of the game can get cluttered with tutorial pop ups pretty fast, the more DLC you own.
